Our History
Mountaintop Christian Fellowship was founded by Pastors Al & Shelly Vamosy in January 2009.
Mountaintop Christian Fellowship is  a "Church Plant" from "Word of Faith Christian Family Center".

Mountaintop Christian Fellowship began in the Vamosy home as "Stamford Outreach Ministry".
That same year, the former Gilchrist Memorial Church was given to Pastors Al and Shelly to use for the Lords work.

With lots of work to do in the building; on site services began August 2011. However, due to lack of insulation in the building, services returned to their home for the winter of 2011-12.
In April of 2012 we reopened the building preparing to begin major structural repairs and returning services to the Mountaintop.

Our repairs, upgrades and improvements from 2012-2016 are:
New roof, insulation, sheetrock, lighting, padded chairs for seating. 2 new bathrooms (one is fully handicap accessible), Handicap accessible ramp and door, as well as a new front door and extended parking lot. Our worship services are enhanced by our sound system and projector which enables us to have our worship songs and more up on the screen for easier following along.

Services are now year round due to our many repairs and upgrades.  Besides the focus on creating a safe building to worship in, Mountaintop has a heart for the people and the community.
